Mythfell

Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 18, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information Mythfell (“the app”, “we”, “us”) collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. The app is published by Conjured Design LLC (“Conjured Design”). This policy covers both the mobile app and this website.

1. Who this policy is for

Mythfell is a casual merge tower-defense / strategy game. This policy covers the mobile app available on Google Play and the website at mythfell.com.

2. Information the app collects

Google Play Games sign-in, leaderboards and cloud saves

On Android the app signs you in with Google Play Games so your progress can be saved to the cloud and compared with other players. Through that sign-in the app receives your Play Games player ID, and where you appear on a leaderboard, your Play Games player display name and profile photo are shown next to your score. We do not receive your Google password, email address, or other Google profile details beyond what the Play Games sign-in provides.

Cloud saves. A copy of your save file — level progress, hero and tower unlocks, in-game currency, settings and best scores — is stored in your Google Play Games cloud storage so you can restore it on another device. It is readable only by this app. On iOS, cloud saves are not enabled in the current version; progress stays on the device.

Leaderboards. When you finish an endless run, the app submits your best wave number to a Google Play Games leaderboard. Your score, Play Games display name and photo are then visible to other players on that board. You can delete your Play Games data at any time (see section 7).

Optional rewarded ads (Google AdMob)

Mythfell shows no banner, interstitial or automatic video ads. The only ads in the game are rewarded videos that you choose to watch — for example to earn bonus gems once a day, to double your gold after a battle, or to continue a run. If you never tap those buttons, you never see an ad.

Ads are served by Google AdMob. To serve ads, AdMob processes information such as your device model, operating-system version, approximate region derived from your IP address, and a device advertising identifier. With your permission it may use that identifier to show you personalised ads; without it, it serves non-personalised ads. We do not receive information about which ads were shown to you, and we do not sell your information to advertisers.

On iOS the app asks your permission before using the advertising identifier (App Tracking Transparency). You can decline, change your choice at any time in Settings → Mythfell, or reset it for the app. On Android you can control the same thing in Settings → Google → Ads → Personalised ads, or reset the advertising ID.

In-app purchases (Google Play / App Store)

The game offers optional gem packs. Payment is handled entirely by Google Play on Android and by the App Store on iOS; we never see your card number, billing address or payment details. To deliver your gems and to keep receipts, the app and the store share the product identifier, the purchase/transaction identifier, the purchase price and currency, and the purchase date. Refunds and purchase history are managed by the store under its own terms.

Crash and error reports (Firebase Crashlytics)

To fix bugs, the app sends crash and error reports to Google’s Firebase Crashlytics service. These reports may include the crash stack trace, the app version, your device model, and your operating-system version. Crashlytics also assigns a random app-instance identifier used to link reports from the same device; this identifier is not tied to your personal identity.

Usage statistics (Google Analytics for Firebase)

To understand how the game is actually played — which levels stall people, whether the tutorial helps, how often runs are started and returned to — the app sends anonymous usage events to Google’s Firebase Analytics. These are counts and settings, not your words and not your save file: an app-instance identifier that Analytics assigns to the app on your device, the app version, your device model and operating-system version, your device’s country and language settings, and in-game events such as starting or finishing a level, the wave a battle reached, building or merging towers, opening the shop, choosing a champion, and whether an optional rewarded ad was watched to the end. No name, email address, contact, photo, file, or precise location is sent, and the events are not linked to your Google Play Games identity.

We read these reports as aggregate trends — for example “many players stop at level 8” — so that difficulty, pacing and clarity can be adjusted in the next update. We do not sell this data and we do not use it to build a profile about you as a person. Analytics also derives an approximate region (country or city) from your device’s masked IP address; the game itself never asks for a location permission and never sees a street-level position. Event data is kept only for the limited retention period configured in our Analytics settings. On Android, Analytics may use the same advertising ID described above, so your ad choices — the consent dialog, the system-level ad settings, or resetting the advertising ID — apply to it as well. Uninstalling the app stops all collection.

Information stored on your device

Your game progress, hero unlocks, in-game currency (gems and coins), and settings are written to your device first, so the game works with no network connection. On Android, if you are signed in with Google Play Games, a copy of that save is also kept in your Play Games cloud storage as described above. We do not run our own game server and we do not keep a database of individual players’ progress.

3. What the app does not collect

The app does not collect:

  • Your name, email address, or physical address
  • Precise location — only an approximate region (country or city), derived from the IP address by AdMob when an ad is requested and by Firebase Analytics when it records a usage event
  • Contacts, photos, files, or microphone and camera access
  • Payment card or billing details — the store keeps those
  • A personal profile of how you play. The usage statistics described above are anonymous counts held by Google Analytics; they are not connected to your name, your Google account, or your Play Games identity.

4. Information this website collects

This website is a static site. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics or tracking scripts, embeds no third-party trackers, and does not sell or share information about your visit.

The one exception is the support form. If you choose to use it, we receive the information you type into it:

  • Your email address, so we can reply to you
  • The name you choose to provide, if you enter one
  • The category you select and the contents of your message

This information is delivered by email to our support mailbox and is used only to respond to your request. It is not added to any marketing list, not sold, and not used for advertising. You can ask us to delete it at any time using the contact details in section 9.

Server logs. Like any web server, ours records standard technical access logs (IP address, timestamp, requested URL, user agent) to operate the site and diagnose problems. These are not linked to your identity and are retained only briefly.

5. How we use information

  • Play Games player ID: to keep your save in the cloud, restore it on another device, and show your score on leaderboards.
  • Play Games display name and photo: only to label your entries on leaderboards.
  • Advertising identifier and device information: only so AdMob can serve the rewarded ads you choose to watch, and reward you for them.
  • Purchase and transaction identifiers: to give you the gems you bought, to complete or re-deliver a purchase that was interrupted, and to answer support questions about an order.
  • Crash reports: to diagnose and fix crashes and improve stability.
  • Usage statistics: in aggregate, to understand which parts of the game confuse or stop players, and to tune difficulty, pacing and the tutorial in later updates.
  • Local game data: to save and restore your game on your device.
  • Support messages: to answer your question or investigate a bug you reported.

6. Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. The services below process the limited data described above under their own terms, and we use them to run the features named:

  • Google Play Games — sign-in, cloud saves, leaderboards.
  • Google AdMob (Google) — serving rewarded ads. Our publisher information is published in app-ads.txt, which lists the ad partners authorised to sell our ad inventory.
  • Google Play Billing / Apple App Store — processing purchases and refunds.
  • Google Firebase — Crashlytics for crash reporting, and Google Analytics for Firebase for anonymous usage measurement.

Beyond these, we may share information if required by law, or in connection with a sale or reorganisation of the business (in which case this policy would be updated).

Google user data (Limited Use)

Where the game uses Google APIs, the only Google user data it receives is what the Google Play Games sign-in provides: your Play Games player ID, and — for leaderboard display — your Play Games display name and profile photo. If you use cloud saves, the game also reads and writes its own save file in the application data folder of your Google Drive.

That data is used only to operate the features you are using: signing you in, showing your entry on a leaderboard, and restoring your save on another device. It is not used for advertising or personalisation, is not sold, is not used to build profiles, and is not used to train machine learning models. It is not transferred to anyone except the service providers named above, or where the law requires it.

Mythfell’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. You can revoke the game’s access at any time in your Google Account’s third-party access settings, and turn cloud saves off by not using the Play Games save feature.

7. Data retention and deletion

Local game data is deleted when you uninstall the app or clear app data. Your cloud save is kept until you remove it: you can delete Mythfell’s Play Games data at any time from the Google Play Games app (or play.google.com/games → Mythfell → delete game data), which also removes your leaderboard entries. You can also revoke the app’s access to your Google account in your Google account settings. Deleting your cloud save does not delete crash reports, and vice versa.

Crash reports are retained by Crashlytics according to Google’s policies. Analytics event data is kept only for the retention period configured in our Analytics settings, after which Google deletes it; uninstalling the app stops further collection, and because the events are anonymous counts there is no individual record for us to look up and remove. Purchase records are retained by the store as part of your order history. Support emails are retained while we respond and for a reasonable archive period afterwards; you can request deletion by contacting us, and we will remove them.

8. Children’s privacy

The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. Your rights and contact

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to opt out of certain processing. To exercise any right, or to ask a question about this policy, contact us:

10. Changes to this policy

Material changes to this policy will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above, and announced in the app or on the news page when they change what the app collects. The version of this policy that applies to you is the one published when you installed or last updated the app.
