I found a bug. How should I report it?
Use the contact form and pick “Bug report”. The more useful details you include, the faster we can fix it: device model, Android version, what you did, and what happened instead. If you have already installed the game, the Support link at the bottom of the main menu (and in the in-game Settings panel) opens this form from inside the game.
My progress disappeared. Can I get it back?
Progress is written to your device first, so uninstalling the app or clearing its data erases the local copy. On Android, Mythfell signs you in with Google Play Games and keeps a cloud copy of your save automatically, so after reinstalling the app on any device, sign in with the same Google account and the newest save is restored. On iOS the current version keeps progress on the device only, so avoid uninstalling before your save matters to you; cloud saves for iOS are planned.
If a restore picked the wrong save, tell us which device and roughly when you last played, via the contact form — the cloud slot keeps one save, so we can help you work out which copy is newest.
When is Mythfell releasing?
Mythfell is in testing on Google Play (Android) and TestFlight (iOS) and is preparing for public release on both. Release dates are announced on the news page and on our YouTube.
Is it on iOS?
Yes — iOS is in TestFlight now and is being prepared for App Store release. Purchases and rewarded ads work the same on both platforms; cloud saves and leaderboards use Google Play Games and are therefore Android-only for now.
Is Mythfell free? Are there ads or in-app purchases?
Mythfell is free to download and free to finish — every level can be cleared without spending anything or watching any ads. There are two optional extras:
- Rewarded ads, only when you choose them. There are no banner, interstitial or automatic video ads. You may optionally watch a short rewarded video to claim bonus gems once a day, double the gold after a battle, or continue a run. If you never tap those buttons, you never see an ad.
- Optional gem packs. Bought through Google Play or the App Store. Gems are also earned by playing, so purchases are a shortcut, not a requirement.
Details are in the Privacy Policy and the Terms of Service.
I bought gems and they did not arrive. What now?
Purchases belong to your store account, not the app, and the game re-checks any unfinished purchase with Google Play or the App Store when it starts — so if the app closed at the wrong moment, reopening it normally delivers the gems.
Gem packs are consumable: once the gems have been spent in the game, that purchase is finished and the store will not list it as restorable, so a fresh install on another device starts from the gems in your saved game. If a pack you paid for never arrived, or your gems are missing after a device change, send us the approximate purchase date and the order number from your Google Play or App Store order history via the contact form and we will put them in your account by hand. Refunds themselves are handled by the store, not by us.
Can I turn off personalised ads?
Yes. Ads are only ever shown when you ask for a reward, and you can stop them from using your device’s advertising identifier:
- iPhone / iPad: Settings → Mythfell → Tracking, or Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. Declining is fine — the rewarded buttons still work, they just show less relevant ads.
- Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Personalised ads, or reset your advertising ID.
What does the game measure about how I play?
A little, and anonymously. The game sends usage events to Google Analytics for Firebase — things like which level was started, whether it was finished, and roughly which device and app version it was running on, plus a rough region (country or city) that Google derives from the IP address, never a street address. That is there so difficulty, pacing and the tutorial can be fixed where players actually get stuck, instead of guessed at. It does not include your name, your Google account, your save file, or anything you type, and it is read as counts across many players rather than as a profile of one person. Uninstalling the game stops it. The full list is in the privacy policy.
Do you want feedback on the game itself?
More than bug reports. Difficulty, pacing, which heroes feel weak, whether the merge mechanic is satisfying — all of it shapes what we build next. Use the contact form and choose “Gameplay feedback” or “Balance or difficulty”.
